This type of Sealing Wax is great if you want to make wax seals but don't have time to drip wax from a wicked wax stick - it is about 10 times faster to use Glue Gun Wax than traditional wax sticks with a wick. Glue Gun Sealing Wax is perfect when you need to make a large number of wax seals! A great way to personalize Wedding and Shower Invitations, Cards and Letters, Announcements, Gift Wrap and Tags, Gift Bottles, etc.
Each stick is about 4 1/4" long and just under 1/2" in diameter. These are designed to be used in a low-temperature
FULL-SIZE
(not mini) glue gun, and will make 15 - 20 average-size impressions, depending on the size of your seal stamp as well as how much wax is desired. You'll receive one SIX-stick set of glue gun sealing wax.
Note
- this brand of sealing wax is very similar to old-fashioned sealing wax - it has a real sealing wax smell when heated due to the natural resins and pigments used to make it. This wax works well with finely-detailed seal stamp designs (and simpler ones too). This wax is definitely different than our wax that has "flexible" in the title/name - we recommend this for use on an inner envelope, but cannot guarantee it will arrive intact if used on the outside of an envelope going through the mail.
Be sure to
moisten your seal stamp well
before impressing it into this wax - this brand is 'stickier' than our other brands of glue gun wax due to the raw materials used to make it. There may be slight oxidation (hazy/cloudy areas) on the stick surface, but they will disappear when the wax is melted and will not affect your finished wax seals.
You'll want to test this (or any) type of wax on your paper before sealing a large batch of envelopes, or mailing.  We've never had a problem with this sticking to any envelopes we've tried it on, but your envelopes / paper may differ from those we've tested
