TOP QUALITY COPY of “Unissued” Soviet Document for Honored (Distinguished) Employee of MVD.
This is a High-Quality FAKE which closely resembles the original. The document is made of quality materials. The front shows nicely embossed image of the Badge of Distinguished MVD Employee, just like the original document. The document has entries for the name, MVD citation and date. These entries were left unfilled.
Fakes like this one are currently made in Russia and Ukraine to sell to unsuspecting beginner collectors and foreign tourists. They are usually sold filled-out, complete with a photo of the “recipient”, and often with a fake badge included. They often show “genuine” wear and even soiling and damage to make them look more convincing. Sometimes they are added to a fake badge (or occasionally even original, to “enhance” the value!) or sold as a part of a large “group” of awards. Buyers beware!
Even though this is a fake, it is a nice item to have as a study example or to else to use as a display case “filler” (original MVD award documents of this type are pretty expensive). Also, great if you want to put your own photo inside and convince your friends and neighbors that you are a part of the “Russian collusion”.
